The Nine Yin Manual is a fansite created by me, dedicated to the North American version of Age of Wushu.

1. How it started

The current North American Age of Wushu website is very... minimal, to put it mildly. It has seen better days. It had a forum, guides, media and more. One day, they somehow managed to wipe out their website, including their forum. With that, a good chunk of the game's history is now gone. The website, as it is, doesn't foster a community anymore. My website aims to fill this gap as a superior alternative.

I also originally got the idea to create this website after coming across the "永乐大典" website. The website is a library to the game's skills, inners and meridians, using the Chinese version of Age of Wushu as its base. Although it is a functional website, it has a few flaws. For starters, there's no mobile view, so navigation on mobile websites is a pain. Second, it has poor performance and sometimes the website is down. Everything is also in Chinese, so one has to use the browser's translation tools to make use of the website. Also, the maintainer hasn't updated the website for over a year now, as of this writing.

Finally, this website is inspired by Garmoth, a fan website for Black Desert Online, and by YAST, a skill database for Blade & Soul.

2. Explore the website!

For now, explore to your heart's content. Want to share a particular skill with a friend? Head on over to the "Data" section. Want a sneak peek of our future content? Set the game's client to the Chinese version while viewing the skillsets, internal skills or meridians. You can switch these settings, by pressing the settings button while in the Data section:

Of course, I also didn't forget the Russian-speaking community. If you're speaking Russian, head on over to the Russian version of this website at /ru/: https://nineyinmanual.com/ru/ . The Russian translation of the website is currently in preview. Articles and guides will be translated to Russian in due time. There's also a half-finished Russian translation for the North American client.

The Russian translations will be provided by a fellow Age of Wushu community member, who goes by the name of Liya - thanks!

3. The future

The website is heavily work in progress. There are some errors here and there.

There are a bunch of features planned for this website. You can view the non-exhaustive list of planned features, here. In my free time, I will also be adding more guides as well as other kinds of articles. Please understand that this is a hobby project of mine and I'll work on it whenever I'd like.

I will also make a channel for this website on the Unofficial Blue Dragon Discord Server. You can post feedback and suggestions there, and I'll add them to my to-do list. I'll also post updates about the website there.

If you'd like to join the Discord server, click the Discord button at the top right of this website. See you there!
