1. Introduction

With the arrival of the Two Factions patch, some existing skills will be rebalanced. Note that this is different from reworked; There are no rework books needed to activate the new effects. This patch's skill rebalancing focuses on Shaolin, Beggar's Sect, Royal Guards, Scholars and Emei.

These change notes are based on the description of the max levels of the skills. For the effects for the lower levels, see the data section of the website.

2. Emei - 6th inner rework

Emei 6th inner rework is changed, having two separate stacks now, for damage and defense.

Blooming Season: Each attack you land, makes you obtain a stack of "Blooming" status. After stacking up 6 times, obtain 3 stacks of "Blooming Time"; Increases your base damage by 15%, critical hit damage by 30% while consuming a stack per hit. Landing a critical hit can restore 5% of your lost HP. Using non-Emei Sect martial arts will immediately clear "Blooming" and "Blooming Times".

Previously, the damage effect of Emei 6th inner was attached damage, rather than increased base damage. This change will allow Emeis to deal more damage with their 6th inner while using Emei skillsets.

Flowers Fall: Each hit received by you makes you obtain a stack of "Flowers Fall". After stacking up 6 times, obtain 3 stacks of "Flower Fall": Reduce damage of each received hit by 30% while consuming a stack per hit.

Soul Collecting Lotus: Upon receiving fatal damage, 4 effects occur: 1. Immediately restore 30% of your max HP. 2. Obtain 2 seconds of yellow armor. 3. Obtain the Emei bubble buff. 4. Repel targets around you and paralyze them for 2 seconds. These effects have a cooldown of 120 seconds. However, the more targets you repel, the lower the cooldown will be of Soul Collecting Lotus, with 5 seconds reduction per target repelled, down to 70 seconds cooldown.

Previously, this effect healed the player for just 15% of their max HP, with a cooldown of 45 seconds, while repelling enemy players.

3. Emei - Golden Diamond Soft Palm

Buddha's Golden Aura: At level 5, when all three Emei Palm reworks are activated, the Emei Shield will get additional effects: 1. Casting the shield will cleanse movement restrictions (slow, paralyze, etc., but not stun) on all affected targets and gives them immunity against those debuffs for 5 seconds. 2. The caster gets a single use buff: Within the next 10 seconds, increase the damage of Buddhist Heart Subdues the Devil by 30% and make it splash to 5 additional targets within 5 meters of your current target.

4. Emei - Yu Nv Sword

Counterstrike of Mulan - Fantasy Moon: It is now instant cast. When casting it, the player gets yellow armor and the armor has a 15 seconds cooldown. When landing a hit, the enemy gets knocked up and obtains knockup immunity against this skill for 15 seconds. The range is reduced back to the pre-rework range of 5 meters.

Previously, the player had to charge the skill for 5 seconds, to obtain yellow armor and to knockup players, without any internal cooldown on both effects. The reworked move also had a 7 meter range. The lack of a charging bar now means the skill can't get a damage boost up to 50% anymore.

Colored Eyebrows - Fantasy Moon: Each poke now adds Fantasy Moon stacks (up to 2), which reduce evasion rate by 15%. The approach range of the move is increased to 15 meters.

Previously, the move did not add debuff stacks, and the approach range was 5 meters.

Daisy Garden: If the target is stabbed to the ground within 3 seconds, and the target has the Fantasy Moon debuff, a knockdown effect is added. When the target has two stacks of the debuff, the knockdown ignores parry.

Previously, this anti-air move didn't have these additional crowd-control effects.

5. Beggar's Sect - Spirit Snake Stick

Strange Snake Venom: This debuff gets an additional effect. When the debuffed player is attacked, they have a chance to be seal-moved for 3 seconds, with a cooldown of 15 seconds.

Snake Coiled on Green Bamboo: The move becomes a single hit while retaining its original damage output.

Previously, it was a move with three hits.

Flying Dragon: Additional effect: When a Beggar's Sect disciple uses the move against a target who has the Strange Snake Venom debuff, the target will have an extra debuff stack injected.

Snake in the Mouse Lair: The move cooldown increases to 12 seconds. The attack type becomes 10 meters range jump, teleporting the caster into the enemy. The hit is splash damage. When a Beggar's Sect disciple uses the move, they obtain yellow armor and instantly stuns and knocks away the target(s). They also inject a stack of Strange Snake Venom into the target(s).

Previously, the move was a frontal 5 meter move with a 4 seconds cooldown, and it simply did a knockdown on targets who have the Strange Snake Venom debuff.

Viper's Bite and Bee's Sting: Parry breaking debuffs the enemy with High Snake Venom: Reduce defenses by 20% and suffer heavy bleeding. It also locks the diminishing stack count of Strange Snake Venom for the duration.

Previously, High Snake Venom just caused heavy bleeding.

Changshan Mountain Snake: Parry buff gets an additional effect: When the parry buff triggers, Beggar's Sect disciples gain an additional 10% damage increase on the skillset, and an additional 10% external parry rate. When the enemy does not parry against a player with this buff, they will have a chance to get Strange Snake Venom injected.

Snake Gliding and Rat Scurrying: Additional effect: When used by a Beggar's Sect disciple, it re-knocks down surrounding players, who are already knocked down. The height is also increased from 3 to 5 meters.

6. Shaolin - Bhodidharma's Stick

The entire set now scales off of melee and internal power, rather than just melee power, causing an overall damage increase for the entire set. Lower level skills for non-Shaolin disciples have extremely limited bonuses.

Buddha's Light: The move changes from 5 meter fan-shaped frontal to 15 meters rectangular-shaped frontal. The move becomes single hit, rather than 3 hits. Chivalrous Shaolin disciples gain Buddha's Light stacks, regardless of hitting targets or not. These can stack up to 5 for 30 seconds.

Buddha Saves the Soul: The move becomes a 4-hit charge that locks down a target for 3.5 seconds. When the caster has Buddha's Light stacks, they will deal attached extra damage to the target. Extra damage scales with the amount of chivalry points.

Heal the World: The sweep has a full 180° reach rather than just 120°. Parry break debuffs target with a seal move. If the caster has Buddha's Light stacks, the caster gains an extra buff: The next Buddha's Light knocks down all unparried enemies.

Previously, the skill stunned the enemy and all targets around it, upon parry break.

Golem Subdues Evil: The skill becomes a counter-attack type of parry buff with a range of 6 meters. When the counter attack happens, and the caster has Buddha's Light stacks, the caster heals up 5% of their lost HP per hit. The counter-attack has 5 hits.

Previously, the parry buff simply reflected damage.

Myriad Buddhas Return: When casting with 3 or more stack of Buddha's Light, gain additional effects: 1. Every single hit can knock up unparried enemies, regardless of them being already airborne or not. 2. It gains yellow armor. 3. The damage linearly increases as the spin is nearing its end. When casting with 5 stacks of Buddha's Light, gain the final additional effect: It will heal the caster; Heal scales with the amount of chivalry points.

Previously, it only knocked up players who were already airborne.

Boundless Dharma: The move becomes a ground-target move with a reach of 15 meters, radius of 5 meters. It knocks down all unparried enemies. The move has yellow armor when the caster has at least 3 Buddha's Light stacks. When the caster has 5 Buddha's Light stacks, the move can be repeated within 2 seconds, to knockdown enemies again. In this repetition, enemies with HP less than 50% get knocked down through parry. They cannot be knocked down through parry again, by this rage, for the next 15 seconds.

Previously, this rage knocked up players within a radius of 8 meters, and seal-moved them for 12 seconds.

Sakyamuni Comes to Earth: When cast from the ground, the move becomes a 15-meter, single target jump skill with 1-second invincibility frames. Stun the target for 3 seconds. If the target's MP is above 70%, instantly eat 50% of their max MP. Their MP will slowly recover by 10% every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, up to 70% of their max MP. When cast from the air, the move becomes a ground-target move with a reach of 15 meters, radius of 5 meters. It stuns players for 3 seconds.

Previously, the move was a ground-target with a radius of 3 meters, stunning players for 3 seconds.

7. Scholar's Academy - Falling Flower Sword

Plum Blossom and Spring Rain: Additional effect: After activating all the reworks of this set, casting this field will temporarily lock the enemies, and cleanse your own movement restriction debuffs. You obtain the "Plum Blossom and Spring Rain" buff, which makes your next skill have additional effects, which are described below.

Flying Swallow Returns: With the buff, you will immediately add the "unstable footing" state to the target.

Snow Moon's Wind Flower - Falling Dust: With the buff, obtain a shield that absorbs damage equal to 35% of your max HP.

Flowers Reflected in Moon: With the buff, obtain a 30% damage increase for this skill.

Snow Moon's Wind Flower - Falling Dust: Additional effect: Once the Scholar's Academy disciple reaches level 6 or higher in any culture skill, and they have the "Hidden Fragrance" parry ignore stacks from their 6th inner (or reworked 6th inner), the spin will convert all these stacks to 2% external deduct & ignore stacks (up to 10%) for the spin's duration.

8. Scholar's Academy - Jade Flute Sword

Cloud Fills the Heart: The move becomes single target with a range of 10 meters. When running the set's parry buff, the range increases to 15 meters. When running the set's parry buff at max level, the range increases to 20 meters.

Golden Sound and Jade Vibration - Flute Sound: Additional effect: Each target hit by the bounce gets the "Flute Sound" debuff, described below.

Oar in Midstream - Flute Sound: Additional effect: Each target entering the field gets the "Flute Sound" debuff, described below.

Flute Sound: New debuff. Attacking, or being attacked, has a chance to remove a buff on you that has at most 60 seconds remaining. Once a buff is removed, you cannot be affected by this debuff again for the next 20 seconds. Your Jianghu inner buffs, ancient skillset buffs, and ultimate skillset buffs are not affected.

9. Royal Guards - Blood Killing Knife Skill

Bath the World with Blood: Additional effect: Hitting an unparried target adds a "Blood Battle" stack to yourself.

Eradication - Execution: Additional effect: Hitting an unparried target adds a "Blood Battle" stack to yourself.

Stab in Back: Additional effect: Parrying an attack adds a "Blood Battle" stack to yourself.

Bloody Battle: Additional effect: Casting this skill with 3 stacks of "Blood Battle" consumes 3 stacks and grants you yellow armor. With that specific yellow armor, OR the yellow armor from the Sunset Skill inner, if you hit an unparried target, they become seal-moved for 1 second.

10. Ming Sect - Divine Arrow Nine Skills

Startling Bowstring: The blue/red scaling is increased from 19.5% to 33.1%, increasing the damage output of the skill.

Hang the Louse - Mind and Vision: Additional effect: Mark the attacked player with a 5-second debuff: Lose 1% of their current HP per second, reduce HP recovery by 40%.

Singing Arrow - Mind and Vision: The blue/red scaling is increased from 8.1% to 23.4%, increasing the damage output of the skill. The damage buff obtained by casting this skill now has a condition: You need to run the Flaming Meteor parry buff to obtain the damage bonus.

Tiger Butchering - Mind and Vision: The blue/red scaling is increased from 14.6% to 24.3%, increasing the damage output of the skill. Skill cooldown is reduced from 15 seconds to 12 seconds. When cast from the ground, skill changes from ground target to single target. In this case, the damage splashes to enemies 5 meters around your target.

11. Shaolin - Long Style Boxing

Feint Step Intercepts Elbow: This non-reworked version now behaves the same as the reworked version as we have, as of the time of this writing. When used by Shaolin disciples, add the 5 second debuff: When moving or casting a skill, fall down. The base damage is also increased to match the reworked version. This non-reworked version can be cast in the air now.

Feint Step Intercepts Elbow - Open Door: The reworked version now immediately knocks down the target player, rather than applying a 5 second debuff.

12. Other

Golden Needle Shen Family

The reworked rage is changed. It is now instant cast. It is unknown if this change caps the healing amount as if it were a full charge. It is also unknown if the players can get the second buff that heals extra upon receiving a critical hit.

Previously, you could charge it up and release it any time you wanted. Under certain circumstances, the rage was bugged and allowed the player to have 5 seconds of uninterruptable yellow armor.

Arhat Fist

Arhat Fist is nerfed even further. Damage stacks now disappear when the player switches skillsets, making players unable to use Arhat stacks for other skillsets. This makes the set itself less versatile too, as the player will lose stacks when they have to, for example, heal.

Unconstrained Sword

Howling Blade - Grim Slash: The "Ethereal" damage stacks from the parry buff now properly apply on the hidden rage as well, allowing players to finally reach their maximum damage potential on the rage. Previously, it was bugged due to a misconfiguration.

Cold Ice Chi

The debuff immediately dispels when it triggers once, on "Shock the World" or higher level players, seriously nerfing the inner.

Kunlun - Proud Sun Secret

The bleeding debuff cannot be injected repeatedly on "Shock the World" or higher level players, seriously nerfing the inner.
